On September 8, 2016 at 12:36 a.m., two Hampton Township officers observed multiple traffic violations exhibited by a vehicle on Route 8. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle, and the operator showed signs of impairment. The vehicle smelled strongly of suspected burnt marijuana, and a vehicle search resulted in found drugs and paraphernalia. The operator was placed under arrest for DUI and possession.
