On October 1, 2016 at 6:16 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to East Hardies Road, at Route 8, for a two vehicle rear-end collision. While speaking with the operator of one involved vehicle, the responding officer observed indicators of impairment. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.
