On October 22, 2016 at 6:42 p.m., a Hampton Township officer stopped to conduct a welfare check on the occupant of a vehicle that appeared to be disabled on Middle Road. The vehicle had sustained two flat tires, but the operator was unsure of how they were damaged. The operator of the vehicle showed signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.
