On December 16, 2016 at 6:09 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to Tall Oak Drive for a hit and run accident. Upon their arrival, the operator stated that it was not a hit and run, but that their vehicle was run off the roadway by another car, causing them to strike a tree. The vehicle was able to be driven from the scene.
