On January 2, 2017 at 12:49 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to East Hardies Road for a report of an elderly person walking in the area who appeared to be confused. Upon arrival, officers located the individual, who was found to have Alzheimer's disease and had wandered away from their residence. The responding officer transported the individual back to their residence where they were released into the care of a relative.
