On January 28, 2017 at 1:43 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to West Hardies Road for a three vehicle accident. The accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle did not see two other vehicles stopped on the roadway ahead, and rear-ended one of the vehicles. This caused the second vehicle to strike a third vehicle from behind. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene, and one involved individual was transported by ambulance to the hospital.
