[ARCHIVED] Suspicious Phone Call

On February 10, 2017 at 2:15 p.m., a resident from Haberlein Road reported a suspicious phone call they received. The resident stated that an unknown individual called their home phone. Upon answering, the person asked if the reporting party wanted to be mailed vitamins. The reporting party responded "No". They stated that the individual then asked if they were on Medicare, to which they stated "Yes", and the unknown person immediately hung up the phone. The phone call was likely a common phone scam.

Residents are encouraged to refrain from speaking to individuals on the phone that are likely scammers.
