On October 30, at 11:49 PM, Police encountered a vehicle northbound on Route 8 near Clearview Road. The vehicle was speeding and being driven in an erratic manner. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance.
