On April 17, 2017 at 11:32 a.m., Hampton Township officers responded to Mount Royal Blvd., at Sample Road, for a two vehicle accident. The accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle became distracted and did not notice a second vehicle stopped ahead. The second vehicle, which was towing a trailer, was slowing to make a right onto Sample Road from Mount Royal Blvd. when it was struck from behind. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
