On April 27, 2017 at 11:47 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to a business on Route 8 for a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers located a running vehicle in the parking lot, which was occupied by an unresponsive operator. The operator was able to be woken up by officers, who detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The operator was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
