On May 8, 2017 at 10:03 p.m., a Hampton Township officer observed a vehicle traveling north on Route 8 in an erratic manner. The vehicle was unable to maintain it’s lane of travel, and almost struck a cement barrier. A traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle in question, and the operator showed multiple signs of impairment. The operator did not complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated, and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
