On September 2, 2017, at 3:02 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to check on the welfare of a suspicious occupied vehicle on Apache Court. Upon arrival, officers located the reported vehicle, which was occupied by one individual. The vehicle operator appeared to be unconscious. Upon waking up, the operator was unsure what they were doing at that location. Upon speaking with the operator, they showed signs of impairment. During the encounter, police located paraphernalia within the vehicle and on the operator's person. The operator was unable to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated and was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI.
