On November 24, 2017 at 3:18 p.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to Middle Road, at McNeal Road, for a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located both vehicles parked on the side of Middle Road. Upon speaking with the operators and witnesses, it was determined that the accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle was attempting to turn off of McNeal Road onto Middle Road. The vehicle had been stopped at the stop sign at that location, and did not see a vehicle traveling south on Middle Road directly behind an uninvolved vehicle that was turning onto McNeal Road. The operator attempted to enter Middle Road, and collided with the second vehicle.
