On December 5, 2017 at 8:18 a.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to Richland Road for a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that was over an embankment and crashed into several trees. The driver stated that they were traveling west on Richland Road when they lost control going around a bend and went off the roadway. The three vehicle occupants were all transported to the hospital by ambulance for injury treatment and further evaluation.
