On December 21, 2017 at 8:57 a.m., Hampton Township Police received a phone call at the station regarding a two vehicle accident in the area of Route 8 and Harts Run Road. Upon arrival, the officer located both vehicles pulled over into a business parking lot in that area. The involved operators stated that one vehicle was traveling north in the curb lane, and went to change lanes, striking the other vehicle. The operator stated that they did not see the other vehicle due to the fact that it was traveling in their "blind spot". Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
