On January 30, 2018 at 12:12 a.m., Hampton Township officers were dispatched to a single vehicle rollover accident on Duncan Avenue. Upon arrival, the responding officer verified that no injuries were being reported, and both occupants were out of the vehicle. The driver stated that the accident happened as a result of the vehicle sliding off of the roadway due to icy conditions. The vehicle in question had the odor of marijuana emanating from it. The operator was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI, and during the investigation, the occupants were also found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
