On February 26, 2018 at 5:25 p.m., a Hampton Township officer was on patrol when they stopped to perform a welfare check on an occupied vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of a closed business. Upon making contact with the vehicle occupant, the officer detected the odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The occupant was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
