On March 6, 2018 at 8:02 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Route 8, at East Hardies Road, for a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located one vehicle still blocking the roadway. The accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle was traveling south on Route 8 and was attempting to make a left into the Sheetz parking lot. The vehicle turned in front of a vehicle traveling north on Route 8 and the two cars collided. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
