On May 1, 2018 at 4:12 p.m., a Hampton Township officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on Route 8. The operator and other adult passenger were both found to be suspended drivers. The officer also cited the operator for having a juvenile child passenger in the backseat that was not in a proper car seat. The passenger was also found to be in possession of illegal narcotics.
