On November 14, 2014 at 1:30pm a Hampton Twp. resident reported receiving a suspicious phone call from a female stating that she worked for the IRS. The female stated that the resident owed $3,000 in over due taxes and they needed to be paid immediately. The resident asked to speak to a supervisor and the caller hung up the phone. The resident was advised to file a report with the FTC and to go online to www.stopfraud.gov
