[ARCHIVED] Hampton Council May Meeting Actions

Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on May 23rd; actions from the meeting included, but not limited to:


- Authorized Trans Associates (Township's traffic engineer) to pursue a DCED MTF grant application regarding the Community Park Trail Project.

- Approved an agreement with WebsEdge for the production of a promotional video in conjunction with the ICMA.

- Approved the Fire Departments' consulting agreement submitted by McGrath Consulting Group.

- Approved the Cohen Law Group proposal regarding cable franchise renewal services (for Comcast and Verizon contracts).

- Enacted Ordinance No. 810 establishing the buyback of service increments by eligible police officers.

- Adopted Resolution No. 991 converting Ben Herr Street to a one-way street.

- Approved a HAA request for the construction of new dugouts at the Hampton Baseball Complex.

- Tabled a resolution amending the Kids Club Program daily fees.

- Authorized a pay rate adjustment for the Kids Club staff members.

- Awarded contracts through the SHACOG Spring Commodities Program.

- Authorized the lease-purchase of a new CCTV (camera) truck for the Township's Environmental Services Department.

- Authorized the advertisement of an ordinance pertaining to Solar Panels.

- Authorized the advertisement of a public hearing date for Wednesday, July 11, 2018, relating to the proposed Solar Panel Ordinance.

- Referred the Aldi's Revised Site Plan/Lot Consolidation.

- Discussed the following community events - Update from the May 19th Recycle Rama, Memorial Day Ceremony scheduled for May 28th at 10:00 a.m. (Hampton Veteran Memorial Court - Community Center), and Active Shooter Response (ALICE) Training for Residents scheduled for July 22nd.
