On May 10, 2018 at 4:58 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Route 8, near Anderson Drive, for a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located a box truck that had driven off of the roadway, split a utility pole, and crashed into a tree. The operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
