On May 31, 2018 at 8:30 a.m., a Hampton Township officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Route 8 after observing multiple equipment violations. The vehicle, and the utility trailer it was towing, were also found to have expired registration plates. During the traffic stop, the operator was found to be in possession of drugs and paraphernalia.
