On June 11, 2018 at 5:10 p.m., Hampton Township officers responded to Route 8, near Eat N' Park for a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, both vehicles were observed to have severe damage and one operator complained of pain. Both operators stated the same series of events. One operator was traveling southbound on Route 8 when a vehicle, which was traveling northbound, attempted to turn left into a business parking lot. The operator claimed that they did not observe the other vehicle traveling south, and proceeded with the turn, which resulted in a collision. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
