On August 11, 2018 at 6:55 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Ridgeway Drive for a single vehicle accident with possible injuries. Upon the officer's arrival, the involved vehicle was observed to be crashed into a tree. The operator was observed to be laying on the ground near the vehicle with a leg injury. Upon further investigation, the operator was found to have a suspended driver's license. The operator stated that they fell asleep at the wheel, resulting in the crash. The operator was taken by ambulance to the hospital due to injuries and the vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
