On August 30, 2018 at 4:27 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Wildwood Road Extension for a two vehicle crash. The responding officer located one vehicle off of the roadway head on into a tree. The driver of the vehicle sustained a potential injury and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. The accident occurred when a vehicle traveled off of a side street directly in front of the other vehicle. The one operator attempted to swerve and avoid the collision, but was unable to do so. The two vehicles impacted, causing one vehicle to veer off of the roadway and into a tree. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.
