On September 9, 2018 at 02:33 hours, Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Middle Road for a single vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers located a vehicle that had crashed into pillars in the driveway of a residence. The operator was not injured during the crash. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene. The operator showed visible signs of impairment and was unable to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated. The operator was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
