On September 9, 2018 at 4:54 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Route 8 for what was originally reported to be an overturned tractor trailer. Upon the officers arrival, they located a T350 man-lift that was rolled on it's side, blocking a lane of travel. Hampton Fire Department responded to the scene and utilized a winch to lift the machine upright. The vehicle operator stated that he was turning right out of Hampton Plaza when the right side tire of the trailer struck the curb and the machine turned over, causing the trailer to flip. Once upright, the machine was able to be loaded onto the trailer and towed from the scene.
