Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on November 28th; actions from the meeting included, but not limited to:
- Public hearing held regarding a proposed Fireworks Ordinance
- Public hearing held regarding a proposed Medical Marijuana Ordinance
- Appointments made to the newly created UCC Board of Appeals (Ron Deems - term expires 2019; Dan Nugent and James Venture - terms expire 2020; Dean Hess and Jeffrey Bauman - terms expire 2021)
- Authorized the request to obtain RFP's for the 2019 Tax and Revenue Anticipation Note in the amount of $2,000,000
- Tabled a request for Capital Budget projects relating to the reconfiguration of the Municipal Data Center and the Municipal Building Access Control to the December meeting
- Approved a new police labor agreement/contract
- Tabled consideration of the professional services contract with Hoffman Kennels to December (Councilmember requested clarification on the care of stray dogs as specified in the contract)
- Awarded contracts with regard to the SHACOG Fall Commodities Bid Program
- Approved the Water Pollution Control Plant facility upgrade design engineering proposal presented by KLH Engineers
- Authorized the advertisement of a proposed ordinance amending the sanitary sewer capital fee in conjunction with the upcoming upgrades to the Water Pollution Control Plant
- Enacted Ordinance No. 815 adopting a new Stormwater Management Ordinance
- Enacted Ordinance No. 816 implementing tree protection and timber harvest management practices
- Enacted Ordinance No. 817 regulating the use and sale of Fireworks within the Township
- Enacted Ordinance No. 818 providing for the regulation of Medical Marijuana Facilities
- Authorized the request to obtain RFP's regarding an implementable Comprehensive Plan
- Tabled a decision to the December meeting regarding the Township's participation in the Aggressive Driving Program administered by PennDOT
- Discussed the following upcoming community events - Holiday Seasons Greeting Celebration with fireworks scheduled for December 6th
