On December 1, 2018 at 9:24 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to West Hardies Road at Lakewood Drive for a vehicle accident. Upon arrival, the officers located on vehicle partially off of the roadway, into a tree. The accident occurred when one vehicle was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. The other vehicle, which was traveling behind, failed to stop in time and crashed into the rear of the other unit, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a tree. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to damage.
