On December 21, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Route 8, at McCully Road, for a two vehicle accident. Upon arrival, officers verified that there were no reported injuries. The accident occurred when one vehicle turned right off of Craighead Road to travel south on Route 8. The vehicle operator then attempted to change lanes to ultimately make a left onto McCully Road, but collided with another vehicle that was traveling south in the passing lane. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
