On January 16, 2019 at 5:59 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Wildwood Road, at Bella Vista Road, for a report of a two vehicle accident involving a rollover. Upon the officer's arrival, they located one vehicle on it's roof in the roadway. The accident occurred when one vehicle lost control due to icy road conditions and rolled over onto it's roof, blocking the westbound lane of travel on Wildwood Road. The second vehicle, which was traveling behind the first car in the same direction, was unable to stop in time following the rollover and struck the other unit. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene and one operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
