On February 24, 2019, Hampton Township Police responded to multiple hazardous conditions calls throughout the day due to high winds. Officers responded to many locations for trees that had fallen on roadways, and in multiple locations power lines and utility wires were also affected. Duquesne Light Co. responded to the different areas for clean-up, as well as the Hampton Township DPW and Allegheny County Maintenance.
