On March 3, 2019 at 8:02 p.m., a Hampton Township officer observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Route 8. After observing a traffic violation, the officer initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Upon making contact with the operator and sole occupant, the driver was observed to show visible signs of impairment. The operator was unable to complete field sobriety tests as had been explained and demonstrated and was subsequently placed under arrest.
