On March 17, 2019 at 6:08 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to West Hardies Road, at Oak Hill Road, for a two vehicle accident with entrapment. Upon the responding officer's arrival, both vehicle operators were found to be out of their vehicles. The accident occurred when one vehicle was stopped in the east bound lane, waiting to turn left onto Oak Hill Road when the vehicle was rear-ended. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene. One operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
