[ARCHIVED] Hampton Council March Meeting Action

Council march agenda items

Hampton Township Council held their Regular Meeting on Wednesday, March 27th; actions from the meeting included, but not limited to:

- Adopted Resolution No. 1007 authorizing the purchase of 2524 Toner Avenue, Allison Park, for the purpose of the Allison Park Sewage Treatment Plant Upgrade Project

- Authorized the advertisement of the April 4, 2019 Strategic Planning Meeting

- Hired Jaycie Malesky as a part-time police officer, effective April 1, 2019

- Adopted Resolution No. 1008 adjusting the Police Pension Plan employee contribution to 3%

- Awarded contracts to EZ Excavating and Robinson Pipe Cleaning Company for the 2019-20 General Construction Equipment Rental & Sanitary Cleaning Equipment Rental Program

- Authorized the advertisement for bids regarding the 2019 Road Resurfacing Program.

- Approved the Community Center summer hours of operation (June 1 - September 2; Monday to Friday 6:00 am to 8:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, closed Sunday)

- Tabled a decision regarding the Windmont Farms Preliminary PRD (18-06) to the April meeting.

- Referred the draft Oil & Gas Ordinance to the Environmental Advisory Council and Planning Commission

- Discussed upcoming community events, which included the 2019 Litter/Clean Up Day scheduled for March 30th, Pittsburgh Pirates Home Opener Outing scheduled for April 1st, the Annual Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 13th, and the Rain Barrel Giveaway (April 15th registration deadline)
