On April 23, 2019 at 12:00 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Wildwood Road Extension and Talley Cavey Road for a two vehicle accident with no reported injuries. Upon speaking with both operators, it was discovered that the accident occurred when one operator got distracted by an object blowing around inside the vehicle. This caused the vehicle to drift off of the roadway, striking the front of another vehicle that was stopped at an intersection. The vehicle then struck a guide rail at that location. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
