On May 11, 2019 at 9:18 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to South Villa Drive for a report of a vehicle break-in. Upon arrival, the responding officer observed that the vehicle in question had a shattered driver side window. The vehicle owners stated that sometime during the night, an unknown person broke into the vehicle and stole money from a wallet that had been left in the cup-holder.
Residents are strongly encouraged to refrain from leaving anything of value in their unoccupied vehicles and to keep vehicles locked at all times.
