On June 2, 2019 at 5:01 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to South Montour Road for a report of a tree and power lines that fell on a vehicle. The individuals trapped within the vehicle reported that they were not injured. Duquesne Light Company was notified of the situation and were requested to respond to the scene. Duquesne Light Company arrived and were able to cut the affected wire. Once the electrical hazard was removed, the occupants were able to exit the vehicle. The Hampton Township Fire Department was able to move the tree in order to remove the vehicle from under it. Hampton DPW was notified and responded to remove the tree from the roadway.
