On July 12, 2019 at 9:38 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Wildwood Road for a report of a dump truck that had struck a utility pole. The reporting party advised that the accident caused live wires to fall. Duquesne Light Co. was notified and dispatched to the scene. Members of the local fire department secured the scene until Duquesne Light Co. responded and fixed the utility pole and lines. The operator of the dump truck stated that they accidentally struck the pole, causing it to fall.
