On July 13, 2019 at 12:35 a.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to the area of Mount Royal Boulevard and Trotter Drive for a single vehicle accident involving a utility pole. Upon the officer's arrival, a male was observed to be climbing out of the front driver's side window of the vehicle. The responding officers detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage upon reaching the individual and vehicle. The operator showed visible signs of impairment and was subsequently placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
