On July 22, 2019 at 2:05 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Route 8, at Wildwood Road Extension, for a two vehicle accident. Upon the officer's arrival, both involved vehicles were located in a nearby parking lot. The accident occurred when one operator was attempting to make a right off of Wildwood Road onto Route 8 to travel south. The other vehicle was making a left off of Wildwood Road Extension to travel south. The one involved vehicle turned right, but entered the passing lane, striking the other vehicle. Both vehicles were able to be driven from the scene.
