On September 25, 2019 at 8:57 a.m., Hampton Township officers responded to Route 8, at Duncan Avenue, for a two vehicle accident. Witnesses on scene advised that the accident occurred when the operator of one vehicle was traveling north on Route 8 and attempted to make a left onto Duncan Avenue. The operator attempted to turn without proper clearance and struck an oncoming vehicle that was traveling south on Route 8. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage.
