On December 17, 2019 at 1:00 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to McNeal Road for a single vehicle accident. Upon the responding officer's arrival, contact was made with the operator and sole vehicle occupant, who stated that they were traveling westbound on McNeal Road at the time of the accident. They stated that the vehicle began sliding due to wet road conditions while negotiating a bend in the roadway, which resulted in the vehicle crashing into a utility pole. The vehicle had to be towed from the scene due to extensive damage. The utility pole was sheared as a result of the collision
