On December 20, 2019 at 9:09 p.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Wildwood Road for a single vehicle accident. Upon the responding officer's arrival, the involved vehicle was located off of the roadway with extensive damage. The driver and sole occupant stated that they were traveling eastbound on Wildwood Road when the transmission on the vehicle gave out and they lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a hillside. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
