On December 3, 2014 at 2:12 PM Hampton Twp Police took a report of a suspicious phone call from a Township resident. The caller received a phone call from a male that said he was a federal agent and that there is a warrant out for her arrest. The male said that he would like a phone call back and provided a phone number. The caller was advised that this is a typical scam and he could also file a report with the FBI, the FTC and stopfraud.gov. The officer called the number given and got a busy signal twice.
