On January 12, 2020 at 6:15 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to Middle Road and Hampton Oaks Drive for a tree that had fallen in the roadway due to high winds. Upon their arrival, a tree was found blocking both lanes of travel and power-lines were observed to be down on the roadway as well. The affected road was closed until Duquesne Light Co. arrived on scene and the tree was removed.
