On March 9, 2020 at 2:09 p.m., Hampton Township Police were dispatched to Venture Drive for a brush fire on a hillside. The fire was discovered to have been caused by an electrical fire as a result of a wire that fell from a utility pole. Members of Hampton Fire Department, as well as Duquesne Light Co. responded to the scene to extinguish the fire and fix the electrical lines.
