On March 17, 2020 at 9:44 a.m., Hampton Township Police responded to a business on Route 8 for a vehicle that had struck a structure. Upon the responding officer’s arrival, they observed a vehicle with heavy front end damage resting up against the building. The operator stated that they believed that they lost consciousness behind the wheel as they were pulling into the parking space. The operator was transported to the hospital by ambulance and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
