On May 18, 2020 at 6:55 p.m., Hampton Towship officers responded to Route 8, at Wildwood Road, for a two vehicle accident. The accident was found to have occurred when the operator of one vehicle traveled southbound on Route 8 through a steady red light. The other vehicle, which was traveling through a green light at Wildwood Road was struck by the other car. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
